Fifteen labourers were injured when the roof of an under-construction building caved in in Chinhat industrial area in Lucknow on Sunday evening, police said.

The roof of a showroom, which was under construction, gave way trapping 15 labourers, Additional Superintendent of Police Paresh Pandey said.

All of them were pulled out from the debris and rushed to nearby Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, he said.

Two were discharged after treatment while the rest were still hospitalised, the Additional SP said adding an FIR would be filed against the building contractor soon.
