Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh will make a statement in the Rajya Sabha today on the Copenhagen Accord, a non binding agreement that was arrived at, at the very last minute by a small group of countries to fight climate change.

This came at the end of  two weeks of hectic negotiations in Denmark. He is expected to argue the point that India's sovereignty has been well protected and chart out the government's strategy post Copenhagen.
