The Gujarat High Court will continue its hearing in the Ishrat Jehan murder case. Ishrat's mother had filed a petition in the High Court alleging that encounter was fake and demanded compensation for the same.

The High court had earlier rejected her plea for a CBI inquiry, but it had formed a special investigation team comprising senior officials from the Gujarat Police to inquire into the case.

The team is expected to submit its report on Monday.
