India to give more funds for Lankan Tamils

Home Minister P Chidambaram has said that India will, if required, allocate more funds to Sri Lanka for the rehabilitation of over 2.5 lakh Tamils displaced by the war against LTTE.

Chidambaram made the announcement after a brief meeting with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on Sunday. He said that the discussion centred on the visit of a delegation of MPs to Sri Lanka last week.

The modalities regarding the resettlement of Sri Lankan Tamils to their original places were discussed.

Its not sufficient, please pay more. They already running short of funds and EU also planned to embargo since they found that humanitarian violations arw very very high and keep killing several peoples.
