Lashkar operative David Headley had been to Pune twice and reportedly visited the Osho ashram.

Initial investigation shows that Headley had visited the ashram in Koregaon Park area of Pune in June 2008 and on March 19, 2009.

He traveled on a business visa and is believed to have made one-day visits to Pune on both occasions.

Ma Sadhana, who is in charge of the Osho ashram, however, told NDTV that she did not remember Headley's visit. "People come and go but they don't stay here," she said.
 
She also said that there was a registration process, which foreigners had to go through.
