There are fresh developments in the Russian girl's rape case in Goa. The Goa Police have appealed in the high court against anticipatory bail of accused politician, John Fernandes.

The Goan politician surrendered a week after being named in a rape case. Ironically, police had claimed they couldn't trace him all these days.

The victim, a Russian woman, had written to the consulate saying she fears for her life. She hass been given police protection.
