| The Delhi Govt must accept the resignation of E.Sreedharan and should replace with a able adminstrator. He should have had put in a place a third party quality company to review the quality of these structures on the first place. He was a new face of shining India, but age dawns on him and this could have contributed to the slack on his work. We are unable to develop new faces and always get stuck glorfying the same individual. There are many Sreedharan around and would be better to give them chances and boost them. These project impacts the life of common man, who depend on daily wages to run their family. |

| The two tragedies at the construction site of Metro raises serious question on adherence to safety norms. We take pride in adopting the most modern technologies in our infrastructure projects but hardly we follows the safety norms as is the practice in developed nations from we get technology. These accidents at construction of Metro is point to structural damage mainly cracks in pillar caused perhaps by weak foundations and poor load bearing capacity of soil in and around Zamrudhpur. The load bearing capacity of soil is major factor that demands maximum attention in the execution of such massive projects. I request to metro Chief this parameter should critically look by metro engineers during inspection of Phase %u2013II. |
