Accidents on road are growing day by day in Delhi and other cities. The reason behind the accidents are 1. Speed of the vehicle to adjust & maintain time. Time spent in traffic posts is not adjusted by leaving home little early. 2. Over cofidence & rash driving. 3. No's of vehicle and traffic congestion in cities. Finally innocent children are suffering. Traffic sense need to be improved by all road users by conducting mass awareness program and displaying placards at prominent location of the city. The defaulter must be taken in to task.

When parents send their schildren to school, the responsilbilty of the school children to make them reach safely to school lies solely in the hands of school authorities. This incident is not an isolated one. Many such incidents involving school vans, buses & rikshaws ferrying school children have met with fatal accidents. In most of the cases it has been observed that the bus doesn't have any school teacher (although by rules) the school teacher's presence in a school bus has to be there so that he / she can keep a tab on driver and ensure that driver is not driving rashly. Further, just in case of any accident, the school teacher can immediately inform the school authorities, though passers by are always quick to inform police / ambulance. Absence of school teacher can be a big problem as she / he is the one who has to decide for a quick action and take initiative to take children to the nearest private hospital instead of a government hospital where the students won't get a proper treatment. Lastly and most importantly, the I-cards of all the students should have their Blood group and mobile no. of their parents to be contacted in case of an emergency.
