Pradhan Committee Report

  • Praises Director General of Police A N Roy
  • Praises Joint Police commissioner Rakesh Maria
  • Standard Operating Procedure not followed

The report slams the police for ignoring the Standard Operating Procedure, rules laid down on what to do in an emergency.

According to the rules, Maria should have been on the field and Joint Commissioner of Law and order K L Prasad who was at attack sites should have taken over the control room.

The report is expected to be tabled in the state Assembly, which is in session.

Mumbai attacks were the worst terror attacks the country has ever seen. But now after this report even more questions will be raised about whether the siege could have ended sooner and if more lives could have been saved.

Again eyewash. We ahve to accept that the whole system failed. Moreover nolessons learnt .Still we r as vulnerable as we were. What the report says about the role of CM and Homeminister. Did they do anything at the time of crisis. well Mr.Gafoor or someone else neednot be indicted in this. The least government should presnt the assembly session is Action Taken Report post mumbai attack and how this time it will be different, if it recurs. But unfortunately this will not happen in our country Mumbai and other cities r as vulnerable as before and common people will pay the price.

Why Hassan Gafoor alone. What about the Navy and the Coast Guard - why they failed to intercept the Kuber. Why the Navy & Coast Guard chiefs should not be rapped. Going a little higher - what about the NSA and its chief Narayanan. He too failed in providing intelligence inputs.
