Software engineer from Chennai killed in Pune

A mutilated body found near Pune last month has been identified as a 22-year-old software engineer, originally from Chennai.

The Pune police believes Sarvanand Ramachandran was murdered by three men who worked at the same company as Ramachandran. The trio allegedly got into a fight with the engineer at a bar. Thy then took him to Katraj Ghat near Pune where they allegedly stoned him to death and then set his body on fire.

The police found the unidentifiable body on January 23. The men accused of killing him were traced after they used his debit card at a shopping mall.

Is this about north indian or south indian?think again.he died not because he was from south.Such kind of incidents occurs even among people from same region.

I agree with you Ashok. My question is, does this news even qualify as a headline? in a country as vast and as diverse as India, don't we have any other news which will make us feel good. It is often said, violence begets violence. As a media outlet, why propagate such news?
