Operations at Mumbai airport were suspended for a brief period today due to strong winds.

Flights could not take off or land at the airport between 1.04 pm to 1.50 pm on Tuesday because of the strong winds, which were blowing at a speed of 10 knots.

The runway has now opened up, but there are backlog of flights waiting to take off and land.
