A day-long bandh would be held in Yavatmal in support of the demand of separate Vidarbha.

Addressing media, former MP Jambuwantrao Dhote said a day-long band would be held on December 19 demanding separate Vidarbha.

"The bandh would, however, not affect the essential services including health services," he said.

Dhote said that he had preliminary discussions with the local leaders of BJP, NCP, RPI and Vidarbha statehood protagonists and they have extended their whole hearted support to the demand.
