Muzaffarnagar:
A woman was allegedly murdered by her husband and his family over dowry demands
in Muzaffarnagar police said today.
The woman identified as Ruchi was allegedly strangulated to death by the accused in Krishnapuri locality yesterday. The body was later hanged from the ceiling to make it appear like a case of suicide, they said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem. A case has been registered against the victim's husband Ashutosh and three other members of his family, who are absconding.
