Mumbai:
More than 100 passengers on board an Air India plane had a worrying landing at Mumbai on Monday. The tail of the plane hit the runway. All passengers and crew were reported safe. Air India has reportedly de-rostered the two pilots till the airline determines the sequence of events.
The plane arrived in Mumbai from Ahmedabad. While landing, the pilots seem to have miscalculated the angle at which the plane should have touched down on the runway.
The regulatory body for aviation, the DGCA, has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
