The fire started at Mehta Mansion near Dreamland Theatre in Mumbai's Girgaoum around 8:15 pm
A massive fire has broken out at a four-storey commercial building near the Dreamland Theatre in south Mumbai's Girgaum area.
The fire reportedly started around 8:15 pm at an electric installation on the first floor of the Mehta Mansion and spread to the third floor of the commercial complex. Some people, who were present in the building when the fire began, were evacuated.
There are no reports of any injuries yet.
12 fire engines and six water tankers are at the spot, trying to douse the blaze.
Earlier today, there was another fire incident at a residential building on P D'Mello Road in south Mumbai. Nobody was injured.
