Mumbai:
A 10-month-old infant has been kidnapped from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station. The incident happened on October 2, when the boy, Sagar Ramchandran, was sleeping with his mother and grandmother in the station hall.
A case has been registered by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
In July, three-year-old Sangita was kidnapped from the CST station. The CCTV footage showed how the accused got off a train, wandered around the waiting room of the station, spotted a family with a sleeping baby, sat beside her and then disappeared with the child; all this in less than five minutes.
The girl was rescued by the Haridwar Police, based on the CCTV footage. She was reunited with her family later.
