Season 1 Schools

Support my school

With the second season of Support My School campaign we aspire to make a difference to at least 100 schools across India.

This season, we aim to work with schools in Visakhapatnam, Palakkad, Chennai, Jaipur, Nagpur, Jabaplur, Guwahati (Amri), Lucknow, Faizabad, Varanasi, Patna and Hyderabad.

Drinking Water

  • 8 borewell systems have been installed in each of the 8 schools.
  • 8 overhead water tanks each of 1000 litres capacity have been installed.
  • 8 RO purification plants are being installed and the work is in progress.


Rainwater Harvesting

  • In 3 schools water harvesting structures have been installed and the water has been recharged.
  • In 5 schools, RWH systems are being installed and the work is in progress.


Sanitation

  • All dilapidated toilets have been demolished.
  • Construction of new toilets is in progress.


Sports Facilities

  • Installation of sports facilities is in progress.


Green Surroundings

  • Landscaping is in progress in all 8 schools.
  • Selection of tree saplings has been done by the headmaster of each school.
