Season 1 Schools

Support my school

With the second season of Support My School campaign we aspire to make a difference to at least 100 schools across India.

This season, we aim to work with schools in Visakhapatnam, Palakkad, Chennai, Jaipur, Nagpur, Jabaplur, Guwahati (Amri), Lucknow, Faizabad, Varanasi, Patna and Hyderabad.

Drinking Water

  • 6 water filters installed in each school.
  • About 30 drinking water points have been provided in the 6 schools.


Rainwater Harvesting

  • 6 rooftop rain water harvesting systems have been constructed.
  • 6 water storage tanks of 500 litres capacity for the 6 schools have been provided.


Sanitation

  • Renovation of 30 toilets inclusive of 2-3 urinals each for boys and girls has been completed.
  • About 8-10 wash basins have been installed.
  • Six 200-250 lts of water storage tanks constructed for constant source of water connection.


Sports Facilities

  • Badminton courts developed at each of the 6 schools.
  • Badminton sets have also been distributed to the 6 schools.


Green Surroundings

  • 100 trees and plants planted at the 6 identified schools.
