Toilets: Two toilets are there but are not functional due to lack of running water facility in the school compound. Students otherwise prefer to urinate or defecate in the open.

Construction of child friendly urinals for boys & girls separately and adequate provision for water supply will help in ensuring regular use of toilets are required.

Access to water: Only 1 tube well is functional in the school premises which is installed on an open well but in summer season, the water availability is not sufficient to cater to the needs of about 400 children both for drinking and using toilets as a result they procure drinking water from their own house while coming to school and find open places for urinals and defecation instead of toilet.
There is need for installing a deep tube well to touch ground water level even in summer season. A filtration system will be provided in the school. The filter to be used is Terafil of 500 litres capacity, which has been developed by the Central govt. Institute of Minerals and Metals in Bhubaneswar.

Rain Water Harvesting System: Most of the people are not aware about it.

1000 Sq. ft. area with pipe fittings, filter, and construction of underground water tank required.

Sports: Play materials like ludo, carom and volley are available. There is no play ground of the school for organizing annual sports events. Students of this school use play materials of High school to organize events in the village common field.

There is a need for play materials according to choices of children. Games/sports like cricket, football, volley ball, ring ball, and badminton, will be provided in the school and all of these involve physical activity. The games have been proposed keeping in view availability of Physical Education teacher and the size of the play ground available.
