Government Upper primary school, Vasela, Kotra Block, Udaipur, Rajasthan

Target Beneficiaries: 250 students, 2 permanent and 2 Shikshak Mitra; Up to Standard 8th

Drinking Water: 1 hand pump out side school on other side of the road. A hydro geological survey was done and no ground water was found in the school campus hence a hand pump was installed outside the school just few months ago.

Rain Water Harvesting System: No rain water harvesting is carried out currently. A RWH unit will be installed and will be essential for storing water which can be reused for toilets and other purposes.

Toilets: Currently there no toilets for either girls or boys. 1 toilet for boys and 1 toilets for girls will be constructed.

Infrastructure/Landscaping: The school is situated in an uneven rocky terrain and thus leveling will ensure a flat and even playground for children, trees can be grown on it if water supply is more regular. Landscaping will be done by filling the uneven terrain by soil and stones and 10 - 15 trees will be planted.

Sports: No sports and recreational facilities are available for students especially for younger children due to uneven ground and lack of boundary wall. A temporary boundary wall will be made of boulders. The school will also be provided with a volley ball court, Cricket kit, volley ball, carom board, slides and see-saw.
