Ashwin Sanghi''s The Rozabal Line was an incredible read. Even though I was told that it was India''s version of the Da Vinci Code, I found it to be much more intelligent. Some of the connections that Sanghi makes e.g. the three wise men searching for Jesus vs. Buddhist monks searching for a Dalai Lama reincarnation, Krishna vs. Christna, Buddha''s fast of 40 nights vs. the fast of Jesus in the Judean desert, Mary Magdalene vs. Ashoka''s empire of Maghada... are wonderfully presented as part of an overall thriller plot. The short and no-nonsense writing style is extremely refreshing.
