Lucknow:
A property dealer was allegedly shot dead by unidentified persons in Gomti Nagar area in Lucknow, police said today.
The victim Shariful Hasan (55) was killed by unidentified persons when he was all alone at his Ujariaon residence late last evening, they said.
Police suspect property dispute might be the reason behind the killing.
In another incident, a former student's union leader was allegedly murdered by one of his old rival near a liquor shop at Kotwali area in Basti district late last night, they said.
Faisal Babu (28) was first shot at and later his throat was slit by Abdul Mannan.
Police are in search of the absconder Mannan, who fled from the spot, after the incident.
