Kanpur:
An argument between two neighbours over a pile of garbage claimed the life of a 57-year-old man in Uttar Pradesh's Bidhnu district.
The victim, Guru Prasad, and his son had a heated argument with their neighbour Ram Avtaar over garbage lying near their houses last night in Hadha village, following which Prasad was allegedly assaulted by Avtaar, his son and two others, police said.
Avtaar blamed Prasad for spilling the garbage which led to a fight between them.
Avtaar and his son Ramji called two other neighbours Kripa Tiwari and Sushil Tiwari, a home guard, and they started beating Prasad with sticks.
Prasad received serious injuries and died in hospital last night.
An FIR has been registered in this regard and Avtaar and Sushil have been arrested. Efforts are on to nab the other two accused.
