CRPF Recruitment 2017: Official Notification For 219 Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) Vacancies Out

CRPF To Begin Recruitment For 219 Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI Steno)

New Delhi: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released notification for direct recruitment for the combatised post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno). Total vacancies available are 219 out of which 8 posts are reserved for Ex-servicemen. The online application process will begin on March 27, 2017. The recruitment process will involve Physical Standard Test (PST) and Documentation, Written Examination, Skill Test and Medical Examination. The posts are combatised and purely temporary in nature but likely to continue according to the official notification.

Important Dates

Beginning of online application process: March 27, 2017
End of online application process: April 25, 2017
Date of written examination: July 16, 2017

Educational Qualification Required

Candidate must have passed intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized university or board of education. 
Two or three year Diploma certificate in technical education done after class 10 is not equivalent to intermediate or 10+2. Read more about age limit, physical standards and others

Application Process

Interested candidates will be able to apply only in online mode. The application form will be available under the recruitment tab on CRPF official website (crpf.nic.in). 

Candidates who belong to general category and OBC category will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to schedule caste, schedule tribe, and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying application fee. 

Selection Process

The first stage will be Physical Standard Test (PST)/Documentation and candidates who qualify this only will be eligible to appear for OMR based written examination. The written examination will be conducted in English and Hindi. Candidates who qualify the written examination, will be called for Skill Test.
