The sister-in-law of Union minister Farooq Abdullah has expired in London yesterday. The Union minister for New and Renewable Energy has flown to London to attend the burial of late Sheila Pitcher there, official sources said.
People from across the society have condoled the demise of Pitcher and expressed solidarity with Omar and Farooq. Among those who conveyed their sympathies include leaders from national and state political parties, union and state ministers, Speaker of Legislative Assembly, Deputy Chairman of Legislative Council and social organisations.
