Jaipur: Leading telecommunicationscompany Bharti Airtel today launched 3G services in Jaipur. It is the firstlaunch in North India and following this, the services will be rolled outacross all major cities in the states in weeks to come, Bharti Airtel President(Mobile Services) Atul Bindal said.
"Havingsuccessfully launched airtel 3G services in six cities, we are launching theservice in North India from the city of Jaipur, with exciting Hindi andregional mobile TV content," he told reporters at the launching ceremonyhere.
Powered by 3G, theairtel mobile TV services allows customers to enjoy their favourite TV shows ondifferent channels on the go. A wide range of live and on-demand TV channels aswell as shows available on airtel 3G mobile TV at Rs 40 for 20 minutes perweek," he said.
Other servicesincluding video call, high speed Internet and video capabilities on socialnetworks are also there, he added.
