With conditions, Bombay High Court lets Bigg Boss air at 9 pm

Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has ordered Reality TV series Bigg Boss to telecast at 9 pm and follow the undertaking by Information and Broadcast ministry.

The court has also asked the producers to ensure that no obscene language is used on-air, not even a beep.

A vacation bench of the Bombay High Court passed this order today.

In November, the government ordered that Bigg Boss and another reality show, Rakhi Ka Insaaf, would be allowed to air only between 11 pm and 5 am. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) said the "adult" content of the shows was inappropriate for children - it cited, among others, abusive language as a major concern.
