Mumbai:
A week after his release from hospital, veteran Bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna has been admitted again to Lilavati hospital on Saturday evening due to weakness.
"He is in the hospital," a hospital source told PTI, without divulging the reason behind the hospitalisation of the 69-year-old actor, fondly called 'Kaka'.
However, sources close to the actor told PTI that he was shifted to hospital due to weakness and Mr Khanna's estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and daughter Rinkie are with him.
Earlier on June 20, it was reported that Mr Khanna had stopped taking food. But the next day, he emerged at the balcony of his home 'Aashirwad' in Carter road in Bandra and assured his fans that he was doing fine.
Soon after that, on June 23, he had to be admitted to hospital due to exhaustion and weakness. He was discharged on July 8.
Earlier, in April also, he was admitted to Lilavati hospital for three-four days after he complained of uneasiness and exhaustion.
Mr Khanna had recently appeared in his first TV ad for Havell's fan, directed by R Balki.
