UPSC Makes Civil Services Exam Marksheets Public

The Commission has put on its website www.upsc.gov.in the mark sheets of successful and unsuccessful candidates.

New Delhi: The mark sheets of candidates who had appeared in civil services examinations have been disclosed by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

The examination is conducted by the UPSC annually in three stages--preliminary, mains and interview--to select candidates for the elite Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.

The Commission has put on its website www.upsc.gov.in the mark sheets of successful and unsuccessful candidates.

As many as 1,078 candidates, including 499 in General category, 314 belonging to Other Backward Classes, 176 from Scheduled Castes and 89 from Scheduled Tribes, cleared the examination.

While the mark sheets of those who appeared for the civil services preliminary exam will be available on the website till July 17, of those who cleared or could not make it will be available till July 13.

Delhi girl Tina Dabi topped the 2015 civil services examination, while railway officer Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan from Jammu and Kashmir got second rank. Delhi-based Jasmeet Singh Sandhu, an Indian Revenue Service officer, secured third position.

There are 172 others on the wait list.
