Shoe hurled at Haryana CM Hooda during rally
Chandigarh: A rape victim with delayed justice hurled shoe at Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda during a rally in Mahendragarh, Haryana.

The shoe missed the dais as well as Hooda. The group of women from the area is also angry with the chief minister and even displayed black flags.

The Haryana Chief Minister was there to inaugurated several projects, including railway over bridge, sports stadium and sub-divisional complex that will cost about Rs 249 crore in the southern belt of the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Hooda also announced the approval of Rs 4200 crore plan to strengthen transmission network in the state in next two years.

He laid the foundation stone of a 400/220 KV power sub-station at Dhanonda, 132 KV sub-station in Pali and 132 KV sub-station at Nangal Mohanpur. These sub-stations will be set up by HVPN at an estimated cost of Rs 180 crore.

He also inaugurated the 958 metre-long RoB, which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 16 crore at Charkhi Dadri-Narnaul road.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated administrative block of sub-division complex at Mahendergarh, which has been constructed at a cost of Rs four crore, apart from a sports stadium constructed over an area of 8.25 acre and built at a cost of Rs 99 lakh.
