Shilpa's tea with royalty

Jaipur: You know it is time again for some colourful cricket as Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty sip tea with the Jaipur Royals. No, Shane Warne is not in the royal picture, but the Pink City hoping for some magic to be spun again in IPL 3.

For the Rajasthan Royal owners, Shilpa and Raj, it is a homecoming. Their team takes its name and even the colours from the regal traditions of Rajasthan. Not surprisingly, the Jaipur royal family is among the biggest fans of the team.

Shilpa looks to the manor born as she walks around the palace with the royal family. "I like everything about Jaipur, the jewellery, the lassi everything. We feel like we have come home and the royal family is very special and hospitable to us," she says.

It's not lassi, however, that they are sharing at this moment. They settle down for some tea.

With IPL in the air, Shilpa and Raj make it a point to wear the team's colours. The Jaipur royals too have got special sarees made for the Royals matches. And they hope to watch all the matches the team plays in Jaipur. "It's wonderful...We hoped all the matches will be here...nevertheless even three is good enough," says princess Diya Kumari.

The Royals will play three of their seven matches on home ground. Fans are disappointed they won't get more, but are cheering hard. They hope the team will come out flying high. The underdogs surprised everyone by winning the first edition of the IPL. They could not follow it up with a win in Season 2, but the Pink City wants the trophy back in Season 3.
