New Delhi: For CBSE Class 12 examination topper, M Gayatri, sticking regularly to normal hours of study is the mantra of success.

Another topper, a student of New Greenfields School, Saket, credited her parents S Mohan and Laxmi Mohan, along with her teachers for their contribution for her achievement.

"It works if we maintain regularity in studies," Gayatri said, stressing that six hours of daily study, divided into two hours in the morning and four in the evening, helped her.

Gayatri, whose scorecard read English Core 98, Economics 98, Mathematics 100, Business Studies 100 and Accountancy 100, also cautioned against 10-12 hours of study, saying it does not help that much.

Following the spectacular result, Gayatri now plans to go for CA course.

"I studied Commerce as I wanted to become a CA," she said, adding that although DU is a great place, it is not her priority.
