Rajasthan: BJP MLAs' suspension revoked

Jaipur:

The Rajasthan Assembly Speaker has revoked the suspension of the three MLAs after a protest by BJP MLAs led by former chief minister Vasundhra Raje.

The MLA, along with Raje, boycotted the assembly session on Thursday in protest.

The MLAs had been suspended for unruly behaviour.

But while BJP protested outside, the Congress passed five bills by voice vote and since there was no more business, the session was ended. The BJP is now protesting this.

Vasundhara Raje has called it a conspiracy by the ruling party, but the Congress responded by saying that the BJP was too preoccupied with its own internal crisis.
