Lucknow, Amethi: Rahul Gandhi took sides on the distasteful words used by his Congress colleague Rita Bahuguna against Mayawati. He said the words Ms Bahuguna used were wrong but he understood her anger.

The Congress heir making it clear that though his party and the Congress chief didn't appreciate her statement they understood her anger.
"We have made it clear we condemn her words but her anger is genuine," said Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary, Congress.
"Her remarks are not worth pardoning. She might get bail like Varun Gandhi but will not be pardoned," said Mayawati, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh.
On Friday morning the order on Ms Joshi's bail hearing was reserved ensuring she will spend another night in the Moradabad jail.
Giving her support, a page three seasonal politician and former cricketer turned MP Mohammad Azharuddin who with great gusto courted arrest for his state president.
Azharuddin termed Rita's detention as illegal.
