Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha and visited the Jama Masjid on the concluding day of his three-day visit.
He embraced and shook hands with the devotees as they started trickling out of the mosque after offering namaaz.
Earlier, Gandhi waited for the prayer to end for over 15 minutes during which he spent the time interacting with the locals in the market.
He enquired about the sale of readymade garments at a shop and also interacted with the owner of a sweet shop, located just below the mosque in the posh locality.
Later, Gandhi visited community resources development centre run by Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust in Munshiganj.
