The Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will pay a day-long visit to his parliamentary constituency Amethi tomorrow.
Arriving by road from Lucknow, Mr Gandhi will tour various villages on the route, meeting party workers and locals and reach Pure Fattepur village in Jamo where he will visit the house for former MLA Jung Bahadur Singh whose son Daddan Singh was shot dead on June 14, Mr Gandhi's representative Chandrakant Dubey said.
Mr Gandhi will also attend Roza Iftaar in Salon area in the evening before returning for Delhi, Mr Dubey said.
Sources in the Congress said that during the course of his visit, Mr Gandhi is likely to inspect the progress and condition of various development works carried out in the area through the MP fund and other sources besides meeting women workers of Rajiv Gandhi Mahila Vikas Pariyojna.
