PM Narendra Modi's 'Mann ki Baat' Radio Address Today

PM Narendra Modi will address the nation today in 'Mann ki Baat', his monthly radio programme

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today address the nation in the eight edition of his radio programme "Mann ki Baat" in which he shares his thoughts with the people.

"Tomorrow 11 AM I will share 'Mann Ki Baat.' Looking forward to communicating through the radio. Do tune in!" PM Modi tweeted on Saturday. He did not share the subject of his monthly address.

In his address last month, the PM spoke at length on the devastating earthquake in Nepal that claimed nearly 9,000 lives. In India, where tremors were felt were felt across Northern and Eastern India, over 60 people died in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh that border Nepal.

"I did not feel like conducting the Mann ki Baat today. I felt anguished... it appears as if a series of national disasters have started," Mr Modi had said at the outset.

In his earlier programmes, the Prime Minister has spoken on a range of issues including his ambitious Swacch Bharat or Clean India campaign, promotion of khadi, skill development, scholarship for disabled children, infrastructure for educational institutions, the menace of drugs and issues related to farmers.

The programme is broadcast live simultaneously on all channels of All India Radio and Doordarshan and is live-streamed on the Prime Minister's official website.
