Pakistan resorts to firing in Jammu, one injured
Samba, Jammu: In a violation of the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, firing from across the border has injured one civilian in the Samba sector of Jammu.

The Border Security Force (BSF) has called the firing "unprovoked". The civilian, a farmer, has been shifted to a local hospital.

BSF officials say they will take up the issue with their Pakistani counterparts.

This is the same area where cross-border tunnels were found recently by the BSF. The tunnels are suspected to have been built to push terrorists across.

The Samba sector is a favoured part of the border for terrorists to cross over.
