No alliance with Sena-BJP: Sharad Pawar

No alliance with Sena-BJP: Sharad Pawar
Mumbai: National Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar put an end to all rumours over a possible Sena-NCP alliance on Thursday, saying "there is no possibility of an alliance with the Shiv Sena or the BJP."

SpeculationS was rife with the NCP and the Congress continue to fight over cabinet berths in Maharashtra.

The Shiv Sena recently hinted that they would accept Ajit Pawar - the NCP chief's nephew - as Chief Minister, if MLAs loyal to him formed a government with Sena-BJP support.

"There is no problem. He was with us in the previous Municipal Corporation, so we have nothing against Ajit Pawar," said Sena leader Manohar Joshi.

Incidentally, Sharad Pawar met Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut on Wednesday.
