Xolo Era HD, launched earlier this month, went on sale on Monday and sold out completely in a few hours.
The phone, which is the first exclusive product on sale on NDTV's Gadgets 360, was sold under the flash sale model that has been popularised on sites such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal. The Xolo Era HD is the first product launch for Gadgets 360, but there are many more exclusive products lined up for the future.
In flash sales, limited quantities of a product are put on sale for a short duration, and the entire stock of Xolo Era HD was sold out completely within just a few hours.
Customers who want to buy this phone will now have to wait for the next flash sale; it is only available through Gadgets 360, India's biggest technology news site with over 27 million readers.
The next flash sale is on Friday, November 20, at 10 am.
The biggest highlight of the Xolo Era HD smartphone - which is available for Rs. 4,777 - is its HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display, with a pixel density of 294ppi. The dual-SIM Xolo Era HD smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The phone also has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
