Vyapam Scam Probe Monitored by High Court, Government Has No Role: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Ruling out a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation into the Vyapam scam and related deaths, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says the High Court is already monitoring the probe and the state government has no role in it.

  • I am full of pain. In an unfortunate incident, journalist Akshay Singh died of sudden illness.
  • He was rushed to hospital, but we could not save him.
  • My condolences with the family of the journalist.
  • His post mortem was done in Gujarat yesterday by a team of doctors.
  • The post mortem has been videographed.
  • I ordered probe into Vyapam.
  • There is no need for a CBI investigation.
  • Probe taking place as per High Court instructions.
  • State government not interfering in the probe at all.
  • SIT to investigate journalist's death.
  • We will also investigate the deaths, not just the scam.
  • The Congress is making baseless allegations.
  • Madhya Pradesh government is not above the law.
