Srinagar:  Heavily-armed militants struck in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore town on Tuesday evening, killing three CRPF personnel, including a head constable.

A woman was also critically wounded in the shooting in the town, some 55-km from here, in Baramulla district, CRPF spokesman R Tripathy told PTI.

The militants, whose number could not be ascertained, fled after firing at the jawans from point-blank range, he said.

A massive hunt had been launched to nab the attackers.
