In an interview to NDTV, Law Minister Veerappa Moily has said that " the entire nation is behind the Women's Bill." The Rajya Sabha will vote today on whether 33% seats in Parliament and state legislatures should be reserved for women.
The BJP, the Left and the government are all in favour of the bill, while Lalu Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav and Sharad Yadav are all opposing it.
Bu the Law Minister tells NDTV that when the entire country believes this law must be enacted, how can any party stand in its way?
