Pattan:
On a day the Prime Minister said that the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) is meeting soon to discuss the Kashmir situation "threadbare", three people have been killed in firing by security forces in Pattan. One of them a Class IX student.
Four others were reportedly injured in the clashes.
The death of the student has taken the total number of civilian deaths in the Valley in the last three months to 66.
