Barmer: Senior BJP leader Jaswant Singh may face a case of violating the Election Commission's Model Code of Conduct.
At an election rally in Barmer in support of his son Manvendra Singh, BJP Vice President Kailash Meghwal reportedly handed out Rs 10,000 to a woman.
Meghwal even announced publically that he had been instructed by Jaswant Singh to give the money and that he was not bothered if this amounts to any violation of the Election Code.
Jaswant Singh is camping in Barmer these days to garner support for his son Manvendra who is the BJP candidate from this desert constituency.
But this gifting of money at a public rally may well result in serious trouble with the Election Commission.
