New Delhi: In an exclusive interview to NDTV group editor Barkha Dutt, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt says he has tapes of the conversation he had with a senior Congress leader in which he had been threatened if he chose not to join the Congress party.
The Congress minister, who has still not been identified, allegedly told Sanjay his court cases could go against him if he did not join the Congress.
"I did a sting operation on minister," Dutt said, adding he "wore a taping device to expose the minister."
Hitting out at the Congress party, Sanjay said it was the Congress which was responsible for the death of his father.
Sanjay said Sunil Dutt was heartbroken at the party's decision to give a ticket to Sanjay Nirupam.
