Guns seized from Padamsinh Patil's house
Mumbai: The CBI's search at disgraced NCP leader Padamsinh Patil's house has opened a can of worms. Five guns, 9 high-frequency walkie-talkie sets, Rs 7.5 lakh in cash and several incriminating documents were found.

Some of the documents were related to Nimbalkar's murder. The CBI conducted a late night search at Patil's Colaba residence which had been sealed off last week.

Meanwhile, Patil has filed an application in court alleging torture by the CBI. Padamsinh Patil was arrested for the murder of a Maharashtra Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar in 2006.

The arrest embarrassed top NCP leaders and Patil was suspended from the party.
