Mumbai:
Indrani Mukherjea, the wife of former chief of Star India, Peter Mukherjea, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police in connection with a murder case, sources told NDTV.
Sources in the police said Ms Mukherjea was arrested for her alleged role in the murder of her sister.
The murder of Sheena Bora took place in 2012 and police sources say her body was disposed off in Raigad, adjacent to Mumbai. Police sources said Ms Mukherjea also helped dispose of the body.
She has been remanded in police custody till August 31. A driver has also been arrested in the case, the sources added.
