Five jawans injured in landmine blast in Jharkhand

Lalpaniya: Five jawans were injured in a landmine blast near Jhumra Hills in Jharkhand's Bokaro district on Friday, a senior police officer said.

Three CRPF personnel and two jawans of the Special Task Force got splinter injuries in the incident, the Inspector General of Police (zonal) Manoj Kumar Sinha told PTI.

He said three personnel were admitted to a hospital in Ranchi and two were sent to Bokaro General Hospital.

All were declared to be out of danger, he added.
