Jaipur:

Rajasthan government's Bhamashah Scheme, launched last August to transfer cash and non-cash benefits to all eligible beneficiaries, will ensure full transparency in transfer of benefits, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today said.

She said that registration camps were being organized for this scheme since August 16, 2014 in which 55 lakh families have been nominated.

Addressing a pre-budget consultancy meeting with the representatives of the non-government organizations, civil society and consumer forums at her office, Ms Raje said the government wanted the State Budget to be more inclusive and the series of consultations were the part of that process.

"The state is progressing well in skill development. For its excellent works in employment and skill development, Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation has been recently awarded with a gold trophy by Union Government and the ASSOCHAM," a release quoted Ms Raje as saying.

She reiterated her promise of providing employment opportunities to 15 lakh youths and said this would be possible through skill development.

"In present time, better opportunities were available for a skilled and expert person in different sectors elsewhere," the Chief Minister said.

Tribal Area Development Minister Nand Lal Meena, Health Minister Rajendra Rathore and Chief Secretary CS Rajan, among others were present in the meeting.
